Traditional events are introduced in adapted forms suitable for the indoor environment. County teams from across England compete in regional events, whilst finals are staged in Ulster and Wales. UK Final (Age 11 – 15)

Held each year, the Sportshall UK Final is the flagship athletics development event of the year. Leading teams and individuals from across the UK gather to contest for national honours. Previous Sportshall champions have included Mark Lewis-Francis and Kelly Sotherton. Whether an athlete, team manager, official or spectator, this event provides a fantastic occasion for all involved!

County Leagues

Many county associations and development groups have established Sportshall leagues and championships. These encourage young athletes and their coaches to maintain a focus throughout the winter, whilst also building the fun and competitive spirit vital for a young sportsperson’s development. In many counties these leagues form the basis of selection for the UK Championships.
